The Story

The Zeno Supper Clubs is a social experiment to see what happens when you bring interesting people together with food, drink, and a creative environment. Through webisodes that are based on cooking lessons with “Top Chef” Lee Anne Wong, the Zeno Supper Club will explore broader themes like environmental activism, buying local, living in a sustainable community and alternative transportation.

Our first gathering was in mid August where Lee Anne whipped up a spectacular Asian barbecue. Over the course of the night about 40 people stopped by to enjoy her tasty dishes. By the end of the night the group realized they were on to something and the Zeno Supper Club was born. This was a revelation in a city like LA where it’s easy to become anonymous and forget about our connection to nature.

On September 8-10 the Zeno Supper Club will film our 3 nights of webisodes, which will be spread across the internet via places we dig like YouTube, Twitter and Facebook.
